Holy Radiance now has a 3.0-second cast time, no cooldown, and requires a player target. That target is imbued with Holy Radiance, which heals them and all group members within 10 yards instantly, and continues to heal them by a smaller amount every 1 second for 3 seconds.
    Seal of Insight, when Judged, no longer returns 15% base mana to the paladin. Judging Seal of Insight still causes damage, and melee attacks will still restore 4% of base mana.
    Seal of Truth, when Judged, now benefits from a multiplier of 20% per stack of Censure, up from 10%.
    Talent Specializations
   
        Holy
       
            Clarity of Purpose now also reduces the cast time of Holy Radiance.
            Illuminated Healing (mastery) now also applies to Holy Radiance.
            Infusion of Light now applies its cast time reduction from Holy Shock critical effects to Holy Radiance, in addition to its current effects.
            In addition to providing haste, the effect from Judgements of the Pure now increases mana regeneration from Spirit by 10/20/30% for 60 seconds.
            Light of Dawn now affects 6 targets (base effect), up from 5.
            Paragon of Virtue now lowers the cooldown of Divine Protection by 15/30 seconds, up from 10/20 seconds.
            Speed of Light no longer triggers from Holy Radiance and no longer lowers the Holy Radiance cooldown. Speed of Light now only triggers from Divine Protection.
            Tower of Radiance, in addition to its current effects, now also causes Holy Radiance to always generate 1 charge of Holy Power at all times.
            Beacon of Light is triggered by Word of Glory, Holy Shock, Flash of Light, Divine Light and Light of Dawn at 50% transference and Holy Light at 100% transference. It does not transfer Holy Radiance, Protector of the Innocent or other sources of healing.

Right, Well, my friend is going to write a few things for the blog. :3 Ohoho. You may refer to this friend as the Lobster Alarm Clock (I came up with the pseudonym. It is awesome and can be shortened to LAC.) So here's the first one!

"People make insulting statements about Christianity and believers on here all the time, and it's perfectly normal, but as soon as anyone makes any insulting statement about, well, pretty much anything else? You have a flame war on your ass. It just makes me so furious to see the blatant hypocrisy that is the norm around here. Aywas holds itself up as this standard of tolerance and equality for all, but that apparently doesn't extend to the Christians (of all sects). I understand the resentment, as most of the userbase is from America, where you do see a lot of bible-thumping crazy "Christians", and a lot of people have had negative experiences with Christians. But that's absolutely no excuse to be so intolerant.

Someone makes a discussion about Christians threatening atheists, tons of respond to chime in their disgust. Someone made a discussion about the Christians in China being arrested, murdered, tortured, forced to ordain a prominent member of the Chinese Communist Party as a "bishop", persecuted, and having their organs forcibly harvested after having committed the "crime" of believing in a God the Communist Party doesn't want them to believe in, and only ONE person responds. One. To me, that's a statement all on it's own.

When it's Christians, people don't care. And yet when Christians dare to speak out about the injustices committed against fellow Christians, they get called intolerant, prejudiced, and biased. How is that fair?"

The one time I got my first two customs, they were excellent. Beautiful, everything I wanted. I /overpayed/ because I paid with a spare item (Mind you, a valuable and desirable item. Just not one I wanted) I had instead of shelling out the raw currency. I've been having trouble finding an artist with good work to shell my money out to, and I'm not even looking for uber complex designs. I just want a couple pretty metals to look at. But so many artists are closed and won't look at your requests unless you have the most kickass idea on the planet, which is simply unfair. And this isn't an issue of me wanting the most "famous" or well-known artists- I don't play enough to know who the heck they are, anyway. I can look at work and see what I like, and I'm the kind of person who has no problem ponying up when I want a product and know its worth the price. If someone wants to direct me to an artist who's actually doing good work and /open/ (and not just for bribes, and "only if your idea is really interesting), I'd really appreciate it. And why should I have to meddle with digital art and coloring pets when I don't want to? Look, I'll put it this way- I hate most digital art, because it's meaningless to me. I don't even really think of pets so much as "art" as much as "a pretty picture I can enjoy this game with". I just want to have fun and have nice pets. I'm not looking to be lazy. I just don't want to mess with all the implications of making my own pet. So maybe you can see where I'd like an easy simulator with a couple options whereby I could quickly and reliably make a custom for myself. Maybe even something that I could use to sort o "sketch" out colors and patterns I'd like on a pet, and then take to an artist and say "I'd like something like /this/, but with more sparkles!" so they know what I'm talking about and what I want and can actually do it. Now, I don't mind this comic. It has the potential to be a great story. Sure I have a very TINY idea of what is going on, but heck, they're only a little bit into the story, right? And at least I know who the main characters are. What bothers me is the excessive amount of guest art comics things. :| Come on now, I'm not here to see these, I want to see the comic. And on TOP of the guest art? It updates... maybe once a week? Not even? I can see updating once a week if you are someone like... Oglaf They can make it work because each of their comics shimmers in the sun like a greased up california beach goer. If you only update once a week you have to make reading just one page WORTH something. A humorous comic can do that but when story type ones do it the readers tend to twitch a little.

Let's see, well, it seems to be about a mute noble girl and a prince on the run from.. something... we aren't quite sure yet. It has a medieval feel to it but since there are trains I'm going to up my history guessing to victorian/renaissance. There is obviously magic involved and some.. thing.. called a Seraphine chasing them that I REALLY want to see up close because it sounds badass. (If it isn't I will be sooo disappointed in this comic.)

All in all, not -bad- but not great. I suppose I really like the mute girl, I always have a soft spot for mute main characters.

I have suddenly come upon the realization that I'm playing a game... that is making me do chores. Chores I go on video games to avoid, Why is that? I find them far more enjoyable on the game even though they are far more monotonous and I can't even have the simple pleasure of finding a froggy while watering the garden.

And I even question the cut and paste, no dramaticness what-so-ever you will definitely get the male/female you WANT. ALWAYS. Excuse me? I'm the new one in the village/valley/island and suddenly they all drop their previous love interests to fawn over me? And WHY do I HAVE to get married? What if I don't bloody well want to? What if I don't want screaming brats around? And if you've ever played that newest wii version tell me WHY YOUR CHILD HAS NOTHING PASSED ALONG FROM HIS IMMORTAL WIZARD DADDY?

Was my character screwing someone else off-screen? What does he do when you're dead.... for that matter, WHY DO I NOT AGE? I mean, it SAYS you're aging in the Wonderful life series but you remain the same. How is that? I know people get wrinkles, Just look at Nina.

And then... then I picked up Shepard's Crossing 2. A game I was told was very much like Harvest Moon and since that's my crack I bent over like a whore and took it. (.... Hold on, that sounds far to much like a certain game critic I want to slap. Shit.)

Now, playing this game was... interesting. You don't have to water crops (Thank fucking god) and you have a variety of animals and plants you can farm/ranch. The whole point is to keep your main dish/side dish/ and firewood bins full so you don't starve. It's not particularly hard but... The social interaction, is questionable. Very... questionable.

You buy your husband/wife. I kid you not, you don't even have to KNOW them to wed them. As long as you have enough sheep you can pick out whichever hooke- ... er... Wife/husband... You want.

So, FINE, being the little elitist that I am (Yes, I can here you cheering you-know-who. I ADMIT IT.) I went for the most expensive hooker. .... Husband.

Well, lets just say he was in love with this girl with the most ridiculous name ever. :| And he wasn't thrilled. So because I'm a nice pimp.... um... Wife... I decided to reload and try the butcher.

The butcher I've known for 7 years and constantly visit with offerings of food because he will drop by and give my bacon in return once in awhile. AFTER the wedding, you know what he asks me? "What's your name?"

After marriage? I was lucky if I spoke to this guy once I month. And might I mention, I don't have a bed and I don't think I ever sleep so how exactly did I pop out a baby after a year or so?

Then I discovered the 'almanac' which had everything I hadn't quite achieved yet. Like, making a certain dish or having two llamas boink and pop out a baby llama. Well... shit now it's like pokemon and I'm still planting crops, picking up dung, and cutting trees JUST to fill up this fucking almanac.

This is worse than killing monster to get stronger to kill more monsters.

Games have made me their bitch and I have no idea why. ;n;

This comic can easily be summed up in one word: Cute.

Literally that is all it's playing off of, it being cute. It seems to be working well for them so far, they've got a book coming out. But I'm really confused half of the time when I read this. One large pet peeve of mine is the fact that you often have to read outside of the comic to understand what is going on. These guys... don't even have that. I didn't know what was going on until well into the comic. It has a ninja and a girl in swimwear.

... And a sentient piece of food.


Really, that's how I can describe it. I have read the whole thing and STILL don't know what the plot is. Is there even a plot? Well, somewhat. About half way through we get to hear the characters backstories... and well, that's nice but beyond that I swear these characters have some form of horrible disorder that shoots them up with random-crack every half hour.

But... it's cute.

Guess what? Breeding without .psds is part of the application. Therefore, your JOB to do the best that you can with or without them. There are a million techniques at your disposal, and doing an overlay is pure laziness. If they wanted a derp breeding, they would've used a derp coin. Not paid 23gp to have you do what they could've done themselves. Derp coins are called Derp coins for a reason- because overlaying looks DERPY. An LBC is made to have an ARTIST do your breeding for you, and an artist should know how to cut things apart, use blending modes, duplicate layers, place things in the lineart that you should have on file. All things you should be more than capable of doing, since you applied indicating that you could with examples that didn't have .psds. Now all of a sudden it's a big deal that they don't have them? You're too good to bother?

The reason many of the gen 2's are missing is because they were deleted, and not by the owner. If you need a .psd that bad, asking takes a whopping 3 seconds. I have a copy-paste message where I just change the pet image.

Seriously. Get some pride or get out. I wish you had to look every user in the eye before handing over their babbys. There was no discernable formula for combat in LW, and it became impossible to balance the supposedly rock-paper-scissors army composition of Galava due to the upgrade system that resulted in people buying massive amounts of a singular troop type that, by virtue of its elevated place in the tech tree, could destroy anything. We will get to how that is relevant in a moment. Secondly we have that: Ultima Online was killed (very literally) by Everquest. Everquest was killed (very literally) by World of Warcraft and Guildwars Both UO and EQ had something in common: They did not seriously listen to their player bases. As a result the designers took these games in a direction that THEY wanted to take them and not a direction the players wanted them taken. Thusly when a new game came out that represented what those players wanted done, they did what players are most likely to do; they packed up and left. Now to where these both become relevant, and my true words of caution: There are problems here. Yes the game is cute, fun in a way, and addicting in a way, and in those ways we can metaphorically call Aywas a cute four year old. The problem is that he/she has cancer. It, much like LW and Gala., has a few problems which are not at the fringes but instead are at the core of the website/game. It, much like UO and EQ, runs the risk of being killed at the first sign of a new and more user-friendly site coming out. These are those problems of which I speak, and ones that you, as the one(s) in charge, really should look to rectify. 1.) Blatant Admin Favoritism: On Everquest it got you fired and your admin got striped from you. On WoW they get paid too much to let it happen. On Lunarwars, it ended the entire game because people got fed up with it and left. On Aywas, it�s ridiculous and nearly intolerable. Everyone here with eyes can see that not only does Admin Favoritism exist, but it exists in possibly one of the most hardcore manners imaginable. This one in particular is a �shame on you�, Slash. Someone hands in an �I-O-U� ticket item from the admins for �whatever they want� and largely get totally snubbed out, but someone who role-plays with you personally gets an entire site-wide Special Zone event for their birthday? Trust me: This shit does not keep the boat floating, it only helps sink it. The fact that this is only one example and that others exist as well should serve as a serious �Watch it� remark. 2.) Your Economy: Is terrible. It is either entirely luck based or entirely based upon spending real currency on this game. Any legitimate means of accruing income are either terribly thought out (see: your BP investment system that makes no sense what so ever. Longer investment periods are supposed to have BETTER returns than spamming shorter ones, not worse.), or are labeled an exploit and result in a ban (more on this later). Rethink this operation method, seriously. A bad economy sunk Guild-Wars, and I promise that anything capable of afflicting a multi-million player MMO is more than capable of afflicting a browser based Neo-pets clone. 3.) Updating and Patching: You need to do this when you say you will. Events need to start on time. Events need to end on time. Patches for fixes need to come out (guess the words!) ON TIME. There is one thing which I have noticed that matters on this site never seem to be: on time. It�s sloppy, it�s unprofessional, it�s generally annoying to a player base, and it�s an EASILY fixable problem that shouldn�t exist unless you want to show your players that, frankly, you can�t be bothered and will get to them when you get to them. 4.) Forum Limitations that Don�t Make Sense: So you can say just about whatever you want as long as you mark a thread M for Mature. That�s cool! Good job! That is a legitimately smart thing to do that allows people to be as adult as they want to be! The problem is more what you are restricted in saying: four words abbreviated here as CDNF. That�s where the problem comes in because, frankly, it�s not enough. Your community is hyper-sensitive to anti-homosexual sentiments, I get that, that�s fine. It also has a thing against a racial slur for black people: good, it probably should. The problem: Racism in general is not forbidden, just N-er. By the way that the forum rules are put out there I can say any other slur or derogatory remark that I want. That�s generally a bad thing, but definitely one of the lesser issues here. The four word restriction is how it was when I signed up however, and I have not checked that policy since then so perhaps it has already been changed. If so: good for you! If not: get on that. 5.) Ban Policy: Getting back to a certain point about your economy and an area in which this game is broken in a way that can, due to the fact that you coded it, only be attributed to you. Throwing bones! It teaches young players to gamble! How does this relate to your ban policy, you ask? Simple: a certain member submitted a bug report requesting a reply, as per the area dedicated to saying if something is abuse of a glitch or not, about throwing bones and whether or not this was, in fact, a glitch or simply something of the website�s nature. Now having done this, and also sending a follow-up message directly asking if it was okay, and getting absolutely no responce it is generally safe to assume (literally just about anywhere else) that this means they do not give a damn and you may proceed as you wish. So throw bones he did, and he threw a hell of a lot of them. About the point that this member had acquired a few hundred GOLD paws is, I assume, about the point you noticed that you may be losing a bit of money on his practice, though much of the GP that he got came from BP farm cycling using your flawed banking investment system (rotating 20Mil 1-week investments, if any of you are curious; set up seven of them and get 2 Million BP a day, free of charge or effort). Now instead of EVER replying to this member�s emails about this being okay or not and simply telling him to stop, which is why they contacted you in the first place, you ban them. Out of the blue, straight up banned, without so much as forum access for a repeal request. The only word given is that �It is not our job to tell you when something is an exploit or not.� Now let me say this in the clearest possible way: Yes it fucking is. That, actually, is exactly what part of your job is. I know a couple old GM�s from Everquest that I still keep in touch with; one of them is now a programming leader over at Blizzard. TRY telling him or any other serious admin that statement and prepare to be laughed out of the IRC. All I have to say to this is that it�s completely un-fucking-acceptable, the lack of a ban-appeal sub forum is laughably amateur, it reflects heavily back to issue number one, and it is the kind of thing that I have seen break communities. Point five about wraps it up here. If you choose to take any of this advice, cool: your site will do better and last longer. If you choose to completely ignore all of it, good luck. If you feel you are somehow immune to these issues afflicting you, that you are too popular, or that surely the people who have invested money in customs will never leave you, I grant you one parting piece of wisdom: Everquest had millions of players at its peak, and now has a couple thousand. Those couple thousand are the most hardcore remnants of a dead game; the top tier of each server. As those servers gradually get combined to reduce costs to match reduced income, these top players clash with each other and the victors dominate the newly combined server. The losers finally leave the rotting husk that is EQ. Everquest was the most popular game in the world for nearly a decade before it was killed by World of Warcraft. The point? No game is immune, no matter how hard core the player base. So good luck, fare well for now, and have fun. P.S. First of all, if you are here to throw a fit and tell me what a terrible human being I am, because I have a damn good reason for feeling the way I do and even though I have that reason and I'll always hold resentment, I'm trying to STOP being so goddamn hateful. In July, my boyfriend (Jayson) and I found out that I was five months pregnant. Yadda yadda we should've gotten a pregnancy test sooner etc; I don't want to hear it. We were scared-out-of-our-minds teenagers; nothing could have broken that denial sooner. Our immediate reaction was "its our baby, we have to keep it", but after a few (entire) days of talking and a whole lot of thinking, we realized that that wouldn't be the best thing for our son. One of his mom's friends is a social worker or something, so she talked to her boss and got us the name of the agency he thought was the best.

We spent four months rushing to meet with our social workers, interview potential families, meet potential families in person, gathering mementos for our son, rushing from town to town for doctor visits, etc. With the added pressure from his father and stepmother, my parents, my grandparents, and random people telling us how adoption is OMG SO BAD STOP SELLIN UR KID, it was a huge ball of horrible stress (not even counting the soul-crushing depression).

We found the perfect family for our son, two very loving daddies, and my C-section was scheduled well ahead of time and everything appeared to be going well. Or so I thought.

I have VERY minimal Native American ancestry, like so far back it doesn't even count. Our first social worker said it was no big deal, but our second made me find all this info so she could write letters to like 30 tribes or something completely ridiculous like that (there was only like three "types" of Indian though XP). Keep in mind, these letters were sent, I'd guess, around 2-3 weeks before my C-section. The boyfriend and I were annoyed as hell, but not worried.

BUT LOL GUESS WHAT!

Less than a week before my C-section, we got a call from our social worker, telling us that I was somehow Indian enough to "count". She also informed us that our family, our one perfect family, had backed out because all the extra shit you have to go through with Indian babies (apparently its totally legal for tribes to have the final say in who gets to adopt your child, among LOTS of other bullshit). I was crushed, and filled with extreme terror. Our one perfect family (like, no joke, they're perfect in every way for our son) had backed out, and we had no where to turn. We had no "second best". We knew from our first meeting that they were the ones. I knew that if we couldn't find a family exactly like them, I'd be forced to back out of adoption in general. We'd NEVER be okay with him being in a temporary foster home, and we knew that if we brought him home. . .he'd never leave.

The social worker was pressuring us to hurry up and talk to a few families they'd found who were willing to adopt an Indian baby (one of which we'd already "eliminated"), and the one we'd spoken to before sent us this nice e-mail. But we just couldn't do it. I was so close to giving birth and just sick of it, and my boyfriend. . .I dunno but he didn't feel like e-mailing people either.

Let's fast-forward to November 18th, the day of my C-section. I was apparently in labor for like 16 hours or something, and got to sit around in pre-op for an hour. No drugs, no help, no ANYTHING. So obviously that was really rough and I didn't feel any better. I want to say. . .around an hour or so after Michael was born (but I really don't know; I was on a LOT of drugs), our social worker called.

AND LOL GUESS WHAT?!

The stupid fucking Indians had made a MISTAKE. They jeopardized my son's entire future because they had a new guy do the work and didn't bother to check his work (I don't blame the new guy, because he was new). Our chosen daddies were very happy to adopt, to that all worked out.

Only now I'm VERY racist towards Indians. Like. . .a lot. Like. . .so much that it CANNOT be healthy. I would never commit a hate crime or something like that (or a crime at all; I have a son to think about even if I'm not raising him). The family left us some money to use for therapy as a gift, but we both already used up all our sessions. I'm trying to work out getting some more sessions from a therapist covered by my parent's insurance, but they're abusive jerks and we're poor (I live with my boyfriend, his mom, his uncle, and his grandma but we have to move soon) so unless they cover the co-pay, I can't get any more.

Does anyone have any sort of tips, advice, etc. of ways to possibly help this hatred me less intense and severe? Please don't say "time heals all things" or bullshit like that; a LOT of time may lessen it a tiny bit, but so far time has only made it worse. ._. "

You found a family that you adored; one that you felt that could give your son something you could not. Things changed because of something unforeseen, and while that is a downside to an adoption system. I'd like to point out that you should be grateful that your son was placed into a family (even after that sort of whole mess) that will love and adore him and give him the life that you couldn't.

You have a right to be angry. We all know that. I think anyone in that situation would be angry that something screwed up everything that was set in motion thus far. But the fact at the end of the day is that everything worked out. Who knows what the tribe would have said? How do you know that they wouldn't have done what's in the best interest of the child? You /don't/ know. All you see in the hatred that you are so wrapped up in that you could give a rats ass about anything or anyone that doesn't see it your way. Just because it's a tradition of the Indians doesn't make them any less humans than you are yourself.

A thorough research was done; everything, including the kink, worked out, and your son is in the hands of a loving family. That's what you wanted, and that's what your son has got. So what if there was an extra step along the way? I'd still be relieved that my son has a life that I couldn't give him, and that's honestly what your focus should be.

You've boggled my mind at the fact that you can hold such hatred for these people that you don't even know. And that shows me that you are ignorant. If you are completely unwilling to reach out in some sort of way to see the /OTHER/ side of this (and believe me, there IS an other side) then... you will never get over this juvenile spat over something that didn't affect the outcome of your child. I think it's a good thing that you've had therapy sessions, and that you're looking into more. I think that is your best route to go.

Bottom line: You wanted your son to go into a loving family, and to be given a life that you couldn't give him. The result: Your son /HAS/ a loving family and will be given that life. Be THANKFUL for that."

Personally, I would never trust the site artists with my breedings again. I've gotten so many poor-quality ones, I've truly lost faith in them-- /especially/ now that the "Breeding Mistakes" thread has been locked for months. Even if you have tons of errors in your site-bred pets, not only are you incapable of asking for them to be fixed, you can't even Dawn Crystal them yourselves, because its not allowed. It's ridiculous. .__. So..I pray you never risk ruining good pets by allowing the site artists to design the offspring. Aside from that, I think if you want to make a lot of money, buying two SCCs to Metal-Coin-breed together could get you about 40 - 50 GP each offspring, perhaps more. o3o; I'd suggest using a wide color range and varying markings on both parents, so you can have a wide variety of colors and markings on the offspring as well.

To the contrary, I think these 175 - 250k prices are just fricking /insane/. Until BP becomes drastically easier to get, such as games that actually give you a halfway decent payout to make them worth playing at all, I'm not ever paying more than 150k at the very most for GP, and even that's about one and a half times too much. The people I buy GP from have also been around here for a long time-- one of which signed up weeks before me, even, and they agree with me on this matter. No offense, but if you just want to argue with me about my prices, why even post here? If you don't like what I prefer to pay, don't sell to me. It's not rocket science. edit: Also, if you haven't noticed the constantly changing numbers in this advertisement, I obviously don't have any trouble buying it at this price. xD

While I understand that hurt her... her daughter is on aywas. Does she know that reading some of the stuff she posts would hurt her daughter? I don't know... just... I'm glad my own mother is nicer than that.
